Dermatude Meta Therapy launched a major consumer-focused marketing campaign last year. The goal? Acquire new clients for Dermatude salons as well as increase brand awareness among consumers.

The campaign started with an advertisement in LINDA magazine. You also came across Dermatude in Marie Claire, Beau Monde and Nouveau, among others. "Our specialists are super excited," says Saskia Kusters, founder of the brand. "We started a survey on the preliminary campaign results among Dermatude specialists. Many have welcomed new clients to their salon. And after all, that's what you do it for!'

Mega effective
The marketing campaign focuses on consumers: the ultimate target audience for Dermatude Meta Therapy treatments. 'By appealing to them, we stimulate demand at Dermatude Meta Therapy salons. The so-called 'pull' effect": explains marketing manager Karin van Mensvoort. "Whether an institute is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in the Achterhoek or in South Limburg, all benefit from the campaign deployed by the head office." Here, too, the results of the consumer campaign are noticeable. And not only in the increased number of website visitors. Saskia: "We receive daily phone calls and emails from consumers who want to book a treatment. We then refer these to a Meta Therapy specialist in their area."

To enhance the effect, each Dermatude institute received a ready-made marketing package before the campaign began. This package contains marketing tools that can be used at the local level to respond to the national campaign. Saskia: "We act as our customers' business partner, not just a supplier. This spring's consumer campaign is an example of this, but also the diversity in training so that our customers are continuously kept up-to-date."
